Dr. Gina Marie Longo, digital sociologist in the Sociology Department at VCU, was invited to panel called "Family Mobilities Online: (In)formal Knowledge Circulation, Information Seeking Practices and Support Communities"  for the IUAES Congress 2022 (International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences) in St. Petersburg, Russia from May 25-31 2022.  She was asked to present her latest paper in progress, "Internet as a Social Institution."
