Dr. Gabriela León-Pérez recently published a peer-reviewed article that examines how legal status history and gender interact to shape the health of new US legal immigrants from Latin America. This article was co-authored with Dr. Evelyn Patterson (Vanderbilt University) and Larissa Coelho (a graduate from our M.S. program) and published in International Migration, the journal of the International Organization for Migration.
