Dr. Silvia Federici - April 27th at 3pm

The Sociology Department is sponsoring a talk by Dr. Silvia Federici of Hofstra University, a world-famous scholar and activist, on Thursday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m. in The Depot (814 W. Broad St.).

Dr. Federici is going to give a talk about capitalism and feminism. (For more information about Dr. Federici, visit her Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silvia_Federici.) After the event, you are invited to attend a reception with Dr. Federici and the Sociology faculty. There will be food and drinks.  

During the event, Sociology students will also be inducted into the AKD Sociology Honor Society in a brief ceremony.
