The baccalaureate curriculum in sociology seeks to ensure that each student develops a solid foundation in the basic principles, theories and techniques of analysis in sociology. In addition to the University requirements for an undergraduate degree, coursework for sociology majors consists of 33 hours to include:
- Introduction to Sociology
- Foundations of Theory
- Research Methods in the Social Sciences
- Contemporary Theory
- Sociology Senior Seminar
- 18 credit hours of upper level approved electives
